Nicole T. Dalton, Lawyer

Erin McKee is a graduate of Lewis and Clark Law School with a certificate in public Interest law with specialization in international and immigration law.  She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa where she majored in English and Journalism and graduated in the top 2% of her class, summa cum laude.  Ms. McKee has been dedicated to the practice of immigration law for several years, practices law in U.S. Immigration Courts and is licensed in Oregon. Ms. McKee began her legal career in public service, providing immigration advice and representation to families and individuals in need.   Her prior experience provides a practical thorough knowledge of immigration law.  She is zealous about helping immigrants and making a difference for families in our community.  She handles immigration matters in Southwest Washington as well as in the greater Portland Metropolitan area for clients in Oregon.  

Nicole T. Dalton is a Washington native and is a resident of the local Southwest Washington area. She completed her undergraduate studies, magna cum laude, at Portland State University, and obtained her J.D., cum laude, from Lewis and Clark School of Law in Portland, Oregon.  Ms. Dalton is licensed to practice law in the State of Washington and is dedicated to providing caring representation and and fiercely defending the liberty and the rights of her clients.  Ms. Dalton has aggressively defended hundreds of criminal cases and frequently obtained favorable results including pre-trial dismissals, acquittals after jury trial, and negotiated plea bargains for lesser charges or treatment options, minimizing jail and other consequences.  Applying these skills to matters of personal injury and loss, Ms. Dalton zealously seeks real compensation for her injured clients.  Ms. Dalton has a reputation for being a tough and unflinching opponent with top notch writing skills.  Ms. Dalton frequently drafts and files detailed, painstakingly researched, and cutting edge motions and is not afraid to use her strong research and writing skills to take on the status quo.

Tanya Green has always been dedicated to helping others in their time of need. Our thriving criminal practice provides the variety necessary to successfully find and develop the myriad possible issues and defenses that arise.  Ms. Dalton also enjoys fighting for clients in personal injury cases.  An active member of several professional organizations, Ms. Dalton has been a conference presenter for the Washington Defender Association and the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and is an active board member of our local non-profit professional organization, Criminal Defense Attorneys of Clark County.  Ms. Dalton actively pursues continuing education as the law is constantly changing and keeping on top of current case law and statutes is vital to providing exceptional legal representation.  Ms. Dalton has a great deal of experience and perspective based on her many years of experience in the legal field. Prior to becoming a successful attorney, she worked as a law clerk and legal assistant and was a certified court interpreter in the Oregon and New Mexico courts.  Ms. Dalton is fluent in the Spanish language.

Tanya graduated from Lewis and Clark Law School with certificates in Criminal and Public Interest Law. As a law clerk for St. Andrew Legal Clinic, she helped low-income clients with diverse family law issues. During her clerkship, she spent the majority of her time in court, gaining invaluable experience before judges in two counties. Tanya volunteered with the Domestic Violence Coordinator’s Office and the National Crime Victims’ Law Institute during her law school career to learn the intricacies of the criminal justice system. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington with a double-major in Communications and Social Sciences.  

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Tanya worked extensively in the legal field and has a strong practical background as well as her education from a high ranking law school.  In her spare time, Tanya enjoys exploring the beautiful waterfall trails of the Pacific Northwest, or on a rainy afternoon, staying in with a good book.

Our legal support staff provides invaluable support to the firm’s lawyers and helps clients navigate confusing and difficult times.  When you call, we won’t direct you to an answering service, you’ll get someone who actually works on your case - one of us.  We are thrilled to have skilled, experienced, and enthusiastic assistants to help us provide top notch legal services.   Estefania, Tory and Lauren allow us to provide constant, day-to-day and the detail-oriented attention needed to keep our clients well informed and in good hands is extremely bright and detail-oriented and works hard to keep our office running smoothly.  We have staff fluent in both English and Spanish, and a professional paralegal with many years of experience in several areas of law.  Our team strives to help us give our clients the support they need.

Ms. McKee fights to protect the rights and dignity of all persons, regardless of immigration status. She understands that working within the immigration law system can be overwhelming. Ms. McKee will compassionately guide you through that complex system, explain your options, and aggressively fight for your rights and your family. Ms. McKee sits on the board of directors for the Oregon Justice Resource Center, a public interest law organization that works on a variety of civil rights issues, including criminal justice and immigrant rights.  Prior to becoming a lawyer, Ms. McKee earned her master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from Portland State University, with a focus on Intercultural and International Conflict Resolution. As a teaching assistant for PSU, she co-taught a study abroad course in Cuernavaca, Mexico on migration to the United States. This experience inspired her to become a passionate advocate for immigrant and human rights on both sides of the border/without borders.

Shellie Dalton, Lawyer

With years of background in the corporate environment, subsequent to graduating from law school, Shellie Dalton returned to the private practice of law and is focused on helping people who have suffered personal injuries.  Having a significant background in issues around work-related injuries, assisting those with personal injury claims was a natural way to focus her energies on helping the people in our community.  Shellie Dalton graduated with a degree in business from the University of Washington and received her J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law.

Patient, caring and extremely detail oriented, Shellie Dalton is a zealous advocate for the “little guy” and has a brilliant command of the big picture.  A Washington native, Shellie is an amazing cook, loves the outdoors and is our main presence in Pacific County, Washington, where she has made her home for many years.
